This season reminds us of the comforts that keep us safe and warm. For many children in our community, a warm winter coat is not just a comfort but a necessity. The Coats for Kids Foundation is hosting the 11th Annual COATS4KIDS Drive. We invite you to help ensure that no child is cold this winter.

• Lubbock, Texas on October 12
• College Station, Texas on October 19,
• Midland, Texas on October 26.

We aim to distribute over 1,000 new winter coats to worthy children, but we can’t do it without your support.

The COATS4KIDS Origin Story

The COATS4KIDS movement began in 2014, inspired by a simple, moving moment. A Chad Jones Law team member noticed two kids waiting inside a restaurant one chilly morning.

When asked if they wanted to skip ahead of the line for breakfast tacos, the boys replied, “No, thank you. We are just trying to stay warm…while we wait for the school bus.”

This sparked a realization: something as simple as a warm coat could make a significant difference in a child’s life.

Igniting a Cause for Good

Determined to make an impact, Chad Jones Law decided to act. They launched the COATS4KIDS event to ensure that no child in our community must endure the cold without a proper winter coat.

In 2021, COATS4KIDS became a nonprofit organization. With generous community support, we can provide thousands of coats to families who need them.
